FAQ's

We know parents often have a few questions before their little one starts, so we’ve shared some of the most common ones here.

We’re registered with Ofsted to care for children from 2.5 years of age up to school age.

We’re open for morning sessions (8:40-11:40am), afternoon sessions (12:30-3:30pm), or a full day (8:40-3.30pm).  Children staying all day will just need to bring along a packed lunch.

You can download and print our registration form from the Info page on our website, or pick up a paper copy from preschool.  Once we receive your form, we’ll arrange a welcome visit.

We accept 15 and 30 hours of funding through Early Education Funding (WBC).  We also accept childcare voucher schemes through individual payroll providers,  as well as the government-backed Tax-Free Childcare scheme.  You can find out more at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

A named bag with spare clothes, a drink bottle, and any comfort items they need.  If staying for lunch, please include a healthy packed lunch.

We work closely with parents and professionals to make sure every child receives the right care, support and opportunities

We offer short visits so children can get used to the setting at their own pace, with a parent or carer nearby at first.

We share regular updates through chats, newsletters and photos of what your child’s been enjoying and learning.  We also post regular updates on our Facebook page, so please make sure you ‘Follow Us’.

We offer a healthy snack during both morning and afternoon sessions, payable at 50p per session.  We also run a sports session every Thursday afternoon, which is funded by Preschool.
